Job Summary
Pass out medication and administer treatments per physician's orders and facility policy within your CMA scope of practice. Document care in electronic medical records and notify appropriate individuals of medications needing refill. Prepare discontinued and expired medications for daily return to the pharmacy. Provide setup, encouragement, transportation, and direct involvement for activities specific to residents' interests. Maintain current state CMA licensure and high school diploma or G.E.D. Required Qualifications
- Current state Certified Medication Aide (CMA) license
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
