CMA - Certified Medication Aide

CMA – Certified Medication Aide responsibilities include administering medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders and facility policies, documenting medication administration and resident care in electronic medical records, monitoring residents for changes in condition and promptly reporting them to nursing staff, assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and personal care, responding promptly to resident needs and call lights, maintaining medication carts and rooms in compliance with state and federal regulations, promoting a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, supporting resident engagement and quality of life through compassionate interactions, and collaborating with nurses, caregivers, families, and other team members to provide outstanding resident care. The role is based in Georgetown Assisted Living by Axiom Healthcare Services with locations in Wichita, KS, and requires current Kansas CMA certification with preferred CPR, and experience in assisted living or long-term care.
