Job Summary
Organize and maintain patient records while performing clinical nursing support tasks such as prepping patients for exams, conducting basic lab tests, and obtaining medical histories. Assist physicians and healthcare team members with treatment and research protocols, including simple, non-invasive patient procedures under general supervision. Respond to unique patient needs from newborns through geriatric populations and adapt to emergency situations within a fast-paced outpatient care environment. Pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Currently certified as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
