Job Summary
Provide direct patient care as CMA or LPN, assisting providers with clinical duties and telephone patient communications. Perform on-site testing (UA/UPT, strep, glucose, lipid panels as applicable), venipuncture with proper labeling, EKG, oxygen and nebulizer administration, vaccines under standing orders, and wound care. Assist with clerical tasks, data entry in EHR, referrals, and patient education for chronic illness prevention. Maintain exam room cleanliness, participate in staff meetings, and support routine patient documentation and follow-up as directed by the provider.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma from a Medical Assistant Program and current national certification/registration as a medical assistant
- Or a valid LPN License and Diploma from accredited LPN course
