Job Summary
Support multiple outpatient clinics across the Beaufort/Bluffton area by performing multi-skilled activities under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care. Gain exposure to diverse clinic settings and expand your clinical skill set while stepping in where help is needed most. This role requires reliable transportation for traveling throughout the region and is ideal for adaptable, patient-focused professionals who thrive in dynamic environments. You will work 24 weekly hours on a day shift with hourly pay at Health-22.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited medical assisting program
- One year of patient care experience preferred
- American Medical Technologist (AMT) certification
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) certification
- National Health career Association (NHA) certification
- MedCA as a Certified Clinical & Administrative Medical Assistant (MA1) certification
- National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) certification
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) certification
- Reliable transportation for traveling throughout the Beaufort/Bluffton area
- Ability to perform job functions while standing

- Ability to lift from 36" to overhead 25 lbs.
- Ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force
- Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes
- Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance
- Ability to match or discriminate between colors
- Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception
- Good peripheral vision capabilities
- Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction
- Ability to perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements
- Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations
- Ability to work rotating shifts
