Job Summary
Certified Medication Aide administers medications as prescribed by the physician under nurse direction in a Skilled Nursing setting at Longhorn Village in Austin, TX. Duties include preparing and administering medications, documenting administration and outcomes, assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living, responding to call systems, providing daily reports to Nursing leadership, and upholding hospitality values. The role requires a current Texas CMA or CNA license and may involve shifts as a CNAs. On-site work location is Austin, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medication Aide with a current State of Texas license
- Certified Nursing Assistant with a current State of Texas license
- Must be able to read regulations and write clearly
- Must be able to communicate in courteous, friendly manner
- Ability to effectively manage and direct subordinates
