Job Summary
CM Inspector 2 responsible for QA inspection support on heavy civil infrastructure projects, including composing Daily Inspection Reports, tracking materials for contract compliance, observing field testing, and reviewing Quality Control Plans. Must have 4 years of construction quality experience (or 5 years on civil/transit projects) and/or a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, plus certifications WAQTC, ACI and at least one WABO/ICC Special Inspector certification. Travel for Western Washington per diem projects is required; ability to adjust work schedule, work nights/weekends/holidays, and perform emergency standby. Proficiency with Outlook, Bluebeam, Excel, and Word; valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; physical ability to navigate uneven surfaces, lift up to 30 pounds, and climb stairs/ladders.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of construction quality experience and/or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
- OR 5 years of construction quality experience on civil, residential, commercial, or transit projects
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Required specialty certifications; WAQTC and ACI certifications; one or more WABO/ICC Special Inspector Certifications
