Job Summary
Lead complete manufacturing lifecycle from press shop through fabrication, assembly, finishing, and packaging. Oversee sheet metal operations including blanking, punching, and bending while driving tooling efficiency, yield improvement, and dimensional accuracy. Manage high-volume assembly lines to optimize takt time, throughput, and line balancing across diverse product configurations. Ensure surface finishing quality and robust packaging systems for large-scale dispatch. Drive zero-defect culture, root cause analysis, and continuous cost reduction through waste elimination and OEE improvement. Lead cross-functional teams in NPI ramp-up and supplier collaboration. Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
- 15–20+ years in manufacturing leadership roles
- Press shop and sheet metal fabrication
- Assembly operations (multi-product)
- Finishing processes (painting/coating)
- Packaging and dispatch systems
- End-to-end manufacturing expertise (raw material to finished goods)
- Strong command over press shop and fabrication processes
- Operational excellence in assembly and packaging systems
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and cost optimization
- Leadership in high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments
Desired Qualifications
- Strong background in consumer durables / appliances manufacturing preferred
- Home & Kitchen appliance manufacturing
- Exposure to electrical appliances
- Experience in appliances manufacturing and safety compliance
