Job Summary
Lead and control operations and maintenance (O&M) activities for the company, overseeing 3 to 4 Plant heads to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable growth. Review and co-create enterprise-wide strategy with Departmental Heads while preparing, analyzing, and tracking departmental budgets to establish operating objectives. Drive operational excellence by benchmarking production processes and costs against internal and external standards to optimize EBITDA and ROCE. Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure adherence to organizational standards and procedures. Manage key business relationships with major suppliers and external partners, including active participation in industry organizations and sales workshops. Groom operations leads, conduct root cause analysis to eliminate repeated breakdowns, and identify training needs to improve team performance and engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering Diploma/Degree - Mechanical
- 15 to 20 years of experience in a fast-paced dynamic business environment in managing large scale O&M processes
- Experience in Site management with respect to handling complex operation & maintenance activities
- Sound understanding and technical expertise in maintenance procedures
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication skills and superior interpersonal skills
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision-making
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis in order to eliminate repeated breakdowns
