Job Summary
Accountant / Senior Accountant (General Ledger) at Raffles Sentosa Singapore — responsible for month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and variance analysis for the hotel. Key duties include posting journal entries, accruals/prepayments, timely financial reporting to owners/management, reconciliation of bank and balance sheet accounts, preparation of P&L statements, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and USALI. Requires a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent), 3-5+ years in hospitality, and strong Excel/accounting software skills. Strong collaboration with operations and non-finance departments is essential.
Required Qualifications
- At least a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5+ years of experience, ideally in hospitality
- Strong knowledge of USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry) preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills
