Job Summary
Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating and demonstrate knowledge of menus, specials, and beverage offerings to assist guests and make recommendations. Take food and beverage orders, deliver food promptly after preparation, and inform chefs of order particulars while procuring items from stations. Anticipate guest needs, follow up to ensure satisfaction, and provide checks verifying accuracy of prices, taxes, tips, and charges. Maintain a clean, organized workstation, participate in departmental and pre-shift meetings, and adhere to the dress code. Work according to shift assignments, including nights, weekends, club events, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Ability to work nights, weekends, club events, and holidays
- Related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Good organizational and verbal skills
- Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues
- Ability to perform basic mathematical skills
- Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. frequently
- Ability to bend, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting
- Ability to consistently lift, carry and load equipment that may weigh 30 or more pounds
- Ability to sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes
- Ability to wear name badge every days
- Ability to arrive promptly
