Job Summary
Assess, develop, and implement Action Plans with Clubhouse members to improve life skills and self-determination across work areas including Employment/Education, Communication/Art/Social Recreation, Intake/Outreach/Housing, and Health/Wellness/Life Skills. Provide direct instruction, coaching, and facilitation for skill development while promoting a supportive environment where members advocate for themselves and assume responsibilities. Maintain program records to meet Massachusetts Department of Mental Health standards and assist members in linking to community services. Offer specific expertise or leadership in designated work areas, manage intake and orientation procedures, coordinate curriculum for educational goals, and oversee culinary operations and meal preparation. Conduct classes individually and in groups, supervise program tutors, and establish affiliations with colleges and universities. Perform occasional weekend, evening, and holiday coverage to support on-site and off-site activities. Maintain physical site upkeep and adhere to all Clubhouse policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- One to three years experience in human services field
- Advanced training, experience, or professional credentials
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Valid US driver's license for at least six months
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or the use of a two-person lift
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer
- Ability to speak, hear, and communicate with clients, staff, and external representatives

- CPR certification within two weeks of hire
- First Aid certification within two weeks of hire
- Crisis Intervention/Staff Safety and Infectious Diseases training within 6 months of employment
