Job Summary
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic options. Assess guest needs to provide beverage recommendations and ensure the bar remains clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift. Restock inventory, polish glassware, and process orders using the POS system while verifying identification for legal compliance. Collaborate with servers, management, and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service and uphold safety protocols. Work indoors with occasional outdoor exposure, adhering to all club standards and performing duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of bartending experience
- Strong knowledge of mixology, including traditional and creative cocktails
- Social perceptiveness and the ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
- Completion of mixology, bartending, or related training
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol)
- Good organizational and verbal skills
- Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues
- Ability to perform basic mathematical skills
- Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. frequently
- Ability to bend, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting
- Ability to consistently lift, carry and load equipment that may weigh 40 or more pounds
- Ability to sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of mixology, bartending, or related training preferred
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred
