Club Technician

Club Technician at In-Shape responsible for the care, repair, and maintenance of the facility, building systems, equipment, pools and properties. Performs preventative and restorative maintenance, conducts daily facility walk-throughs, provides repair vs. replacement recommendations, handles repairs on fitness equipment, plumbing, electrical, pool, steam, sauna, and mechanical systems, along with drywall, texture, paint, tile, and grout. Works with the General Manager to prioritize tasks, orders parts, supports capital repair projects, tracks work orders in the CMMS, maintains OSHA safety standards, can perform after-hours work, and serves as on-site point of contact for outside service providers and vendors. Ensures compliance with City/County/State codes, supports emergency response efforts, participates in team meetings/trainings, and may travel to other clubs as needed. Requires knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems; experience in related environments; CPR certification or ability to obtain; strong communication and organizational skills; willingness to learn and teach others; and proficiency with basic computer tools (MS Outlook/Word/Excel).
