Job Summary

Lead the club's squash program by coordinating member-run leagues, organizing adult and junior travel tournaments, and administering club championships. Deliver private and group instruction across all skill levels while developing junior programming and introducing new players to the sport. Serve as the primary point of contact for members, advising on equipment and fostering relationships with league leaders, parents, and visiting clubs. Maintain a professional operation on non-regulation courts and communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders. Work flexible evenings, weekends, and during travel schedules to support a community of over 200 players.

Required Qualifications

  • Passionate teacher who enjoys working with players of different ages and ability levels
  • Strong understanding of squash fundamentals, strategy, player development, and instruction
  • Ability to teach newer players while also working effectively with experienced and competitive players
  • Interest and ability in growing a successful junior squash program
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Able to work collaboratively with member-run leagues and volunteer league leadership
  • Able to develop programs, organize tournaments, and complete projects in a timely manner
  • Comfortable working in a private club environment where service and member relationships are important
  • Flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, tournaments, and travel
  • Must be comfortable teaching, programming, and developing players within non-regulation courts measuring 32' x 16'
