Job Summary
Measure lie and loft angles, adjust club height, weight, and shaft flex, and repair broken clubheads while modifying grips per customer needs. Operate shop equipment safely, record shop consumption and waste, and complete all order forms and repair tags with accuracy. Demonstrate knowledge of golf club-making techniques, product features, and benefits to provide superior service and recommendations. Manage inventory through the POS register system and access all store areas including the sales floor and stock room. Work varied hours as business dictates.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate knowledge of processing information and merchandise via computer and POS register system
- Demonstrate working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, Internet and order processing systems
- Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area and register area by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching and kneeling and lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds at any given time
- Work varied hours/days as business dictates
Desired Qualifications
- Prior golf club repair experience
- Knowledge of golf equipment and shafts
- Experience working in a shop environment and familiarity with basic power tools
- Knowledge of retail operations
