Job Summary
Conduct club performance modifications by measuring lie, loft, and shaft specifications to construct or repair golf clubs according to customer needs. Operate shop equipment safely while managing inventory through accurate recording of consumption, usage, and waste. Complete all order forms and repair tags with precision, utilizing phone systems and basic computer applications to process information and merchandise. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of golf club-making techniques, product features, and benefits to provide superior service recommendations. Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and moving between sales, stock, and register areas. Work varied hours as business dictates.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate knowledge of processing information and merchandise via computer and POS register system
- Demonstrate working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, Internet and order processing systems
- Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area and register area by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching and kneeling and lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds at any given time
- Work varied hours/days as business dictates
Desired Qualifications
- Prior golf club repair experience
- Knowledge of golf equipment and shafts
- Experience working in a shop environment and familiarity with basic power tools
- Knowledge of retail operations
