Job Summary
Measure lie, loft, and shaft specifications, then repair broken clubheads, replace shafts and grips, and perform performance modifications based on customer needs. Operate shop equipment safely while accurately recording inventory consumption and completing repair tags. Provide product recommendations and construct or modify clubs to ensure a superior customer experience. Manage general phone systems and basic computer applications for order processing. Work varied hours/days as business dictates in a store environment where you may lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate knowledge of processing information and merchandise via computer and POS register system
- Demonstrate working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, Internet and order processing systems
- Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area and register area by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching and kneeling and lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds at any given time
- Work varied hours/days as business dictates
Desired Qualifications
- Prior golf club repair experience
- Knowledge of golf equipment and shafts
- Experience working in a shop environment and familiarity with basic power tools
- Knowledge of retail operations
