Job Summary
Perform all club performance modifications according to customer needs, including measuring lie, loft angles, club height, weight, and shaft flex to make adjustments. Repair broken clubheads, change shafts and grips, and provide product and service recommendations. Manage inventory by accurately recording shop consumption, usage, and waste while operating shop equipment safely. Complete all order forms and repair tags with accuracy and operate general phone systems and basic computer applications. Work varied hours/days as business dictates.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate knowledge of processing information and merchandise via computer and POS register system
- Demonstrate working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, Internet and order processing systems
- Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area and register area by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching and kneeling and lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds at any given time
- Work varied hours/days as business dictates
Desired Qualifications
- Prior golf club repair experience
- Knowledge of golf equipment and shafts
- Experience working in a shop environment and familiarity with basic power tools
- Knowledge of retail operations
