Job Summary
Deliver rugby participation programmes to schools and community groups within the allocated club catchment; promote and develop rugby union across primary and secondary schools; support volunteers and on-field development; deliver blitzes, events, and reports; maintain records and uphold the IRFU (Ulster) image and safeguarding standards.
Required Qualifications
- IRFU Stage 1 (Children’s Coaching) or Stage 2 (Youth Coaching) Coaching Qualification or equivalent. Stage 3 (Senior Coaching) may be shortlisted if attending earliest opportunity.
- Demonstrable coaching experience at Stage 1, Stage 2 OR Stage 3 of the LTPD pathway (age 6-18)
- Understanding & commitment to the IRFU Child Safeguarding policy for underage players
- Ability to interact positively with colleagues, volunteers, teachers & children
- Good communication, organisation and time management skills
- Good administration skills with ability to produce written reports to deadlines
- Willingness to work unsupervised, use own initiative, be self-motivated and a team player
- Flexible hours including weekends & evenings
