Job Summary
Oversee and drive the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's CLUB credit program and customer experience culture throughout the store, incorporating exclusive benefits into conversations and promoting cost savings programs through effective merchandising. Act as the primary CLUB liaison to ensure retail leadership and outfitters are knowledgeable about promotions, while collaborating with partners to execute successful onsite and offsite events. Build strong relationships with the General Manager and outfitters to motivate them, lead by example as a coach for peers, and facilitate CLUB 101 training for new Outfitters. Design strategies to meet key CLUB metrics by analyzing daily reporting and executing corrective action plans for missed performance targets. Execute operational and compliance programs, manage the CLUB instant issuance process, and coordinate department functions to drive store performance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 to 4+ years Sales, Management, or Leadership Experience
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret a variety of other financial, legal, and technical information
- Ability to read and analyze certain reports
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Managers, associates, customers, and the public
- Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups
- Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and electronic point of sale and inventory management systems
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, associates, customers and with the Corporate Staff
- Demonstrated use of Team concept of Management
- As needed for training and CLUB off-site events
