Job Summary
Oversee gym operations to ensure a positive member experience and financial success by recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising team members. Manage front desk tasks including member greetings, tours, and service inquiries while ensuring prompt opening and closing. Provide coaching on performance standards, track inventory, and verify staff adherence to all policies and marketing promotions. Maintain a positive club image and support both team members and customers through active listening and problem-solving. Ensure the club remains open and staffed during all business hours.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Honesty and good work ethic
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time
- Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
- Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
