Job Summary
Oversee club operations, guarantee an exceptional member experience, and ensure financial stability by managing teammates to maintain a high-energy environment. Grow, develop, and build a winning team through hiring, training, coaching, and performance management while utilizing Planet Fitness University to enhance capabilities. Drive EFT and membership growth by meeting assigned goals for BCM, club tours, employee retention, member engagement, and regional inspections. Provide timely responses to member service submissions in Listen 360 and ensure proper opening and closing procedures. Maintain operational and cleanliness standards, develop assistant managers into future leaders, and create effective schedules to meet targeted labor hours. Ensure all teammates complete Respectful Workplace Training and AED/CPR Certification within 60 days of hire. This role supports United FP's mission to provide a judgment-free zone where anyone can build a lasting, active lifestyle.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
- Excellent Customer Service skills with a high degree of member care
- Previous experience leading teams in the retail or fitness environment
- Self-starter, motivated and enthusiastic about creating the best experience for members
- Well organized, reliable, detail oriented, and able to work without direct supervision in a team environment
- Must be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, twisting, or crouch
