Job Summary
Oversee gym operations to ensure positive member experience and financial success by recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising staff. Manage front desk tasks, including greeting potential members, providing tours, facilitating service issues, and ensuring prompt opening and closing. Authorize expenditures, process payroll, and handle daily bank deposits while maintaining cleanliness across the largest section of the gym. Monitor marketing efforts to ensure staff awareness and training. Provide backup support for employees on leave. This role requires standing and walking 75% of the shift, lifting up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time, and demonstrates strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Prior supervisory experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
- Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time
