Job Summary
Oversee gym operations at a Planet Fitness club to ensure a positive member experience and financial success. Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling and supervising team members; ensuring exceptional front desk and member services; conducting gym tours and addressing member service issues; maintaining a positive club image; coaching staff to meet company standards; managing opening/closing and ensuring coverage during all hours; ensuring staff understand current marketing promotions; completing onboarding tasks (Paycom) for new hires; ordering supplies and tracking inventory; enforcing policies and procedures; and fostering a culture of strong customer service, effective communication, problem solving, and diplomacy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of equivalent managerial experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Basic computer proficiency
