Job Summary
Ensure club is fully staffed by recruiting, interviewing, and hiring candidates to meet NFP standards. Consistently achieve monthly operational and financial goals while driving membership sales and community outreach. Manage club labor by validating timecards, approving payroll, and scheduling shifts efficiently. Maintain club cleanliness, safety, and compliance with monthly BER inspections. Hold staff accountable through coaching, counseling, and progressive discipline. Work side-by-side with team members on front desk activities, member tours, and cleaning duties. Report member accidents promptly and execute plans to correct identified areas of need. Update Senior General Manager on weekly progress and attend regional meetings.
Required Qualifications
- High school education/GED
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
- Walking and standing for prolonged periods of time
- Crouching, bending, using hands to pinch and grasp
Desired Qualifications
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry
- Management experience through Planet Fitness preferred
- Exceptional leadership, diplomacy and listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
- Ability to successfully coach and develop team members
