Job Summary
Oversee gym operations to ensure a positive member experience and financial success by recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising team members. Manage front desk tasks including greeting members, conducting tours, and resolving service issues while ensuring prompt opening and closing. Provide coaching and counseling to staff to meet company standards and maintain a positive club image. Handle supply ordering, inventory tracking, and completing onboarding in Paycom for new hires. Ensure all team members adhere to policies and stay updated on marketing promotions. Requires at least one year of managerial experience and strong customer service skills. Includes health, dental, and vision insurance plus free membership for the manager and one family member.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
- Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time
