Job Summary
Oversee gym operations to ensure a positive member experience and a financially successful club. Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling and supervising team members; maintaining high-quality front desk and member-service experiences; conducting gym tours and addressing member service issues; supporting staff and club members; promoting a positive club image; coaching performance to meet company standards; ensuring timely opening/closing and staffing; training staff on current promotions; completing onboarding in Paycom for new hires; managing operations to keep the club open and properly staffed; enforcing company policies and procedures; ordering supplies and tracking inventory. Essential behaviors emphasize customer service, active listening, problem solving, diplomacy, and clear communication to boost productivity and prevent misunderstandings. Minimum qualifications require honesty, at least 1 year of managerial experience, strong customer service and leadership skills, and basic computer proficiency.
