Job Summary
Oversee gym operations to ensure positive member experience and financial success by recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising staff. Manage front desk tasks, including opening and closing the gym, processing payroll, authorizing expenditures, and making daily bank deposits. Facilitate member service issues, conduct tours for potential members, and oversee cleanliness of the largest daily cleaning section. Handle marketing efforts and prepare new hire forms while providing backup support for employees out of illness. Ensure all staff deliver exceptional customer service and resolve problems with tact.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Prior supervisory experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
- Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time
