Job Summary
Oversee gym operations to ensure positive member experience and financial success by recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff. Manage daily front desk tasks, including greeting potential members for tours, processing payroll, authorizing expenditures, and making bank deposits. Facilitate member service issues, ensure prompt opening and closing, and oversee cleanliness by taking responsibility for the largest section of daily cleaning. Lead marketing efforts by ensuring staff awareness and training on all sent materials. Provide backup support for any employee out due to illness or other reasons.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Prior supervisory experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
- Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time
