Job Summary
Oversee gym operations to ensure positive member experience and financial success by recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising staff. Manage front desk tasks, including greeting potential members, facilitating service issues, and ensuring prompt opening and closing. Authorize expenditures, process weekly payroll, and make daily bank deposits while overseeing cleanliness and appearance of the facility. Lead marketing efforts and prepare new hire forms for regional managers. Ensure prompt opening/closing of gym.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Prior supervisory experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
- Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time
