Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the Boys & Girls Club site, delivering a high-quality, equitable member experience for youth ages 4–18. Plan and implement high-quality programs while managing partner relationships to ensure mission-aligned activities. Lead staff by recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and supervising personnel, including conducting regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and timecard approvals. Ensure strict compliance with DCF251 regulations, safety assessments, emergency drills, and child tracking procedures. Manage club finances by tracking budgets up to $200,000, collecting fees, and reconciling expenses. Submit annual outcome tracking reports, monthly club reports, and incident logs as required. Work 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM Monday through Friday at $30.00 per hour. This grant-funded position requires a Bachelor's degree in Education or an Associate's degree in childcare, with continued employment contingent on funding availability.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma with Registry Credential for Center Director 51+
- Bachelor's Degree in Education
- Associate's degree
- Associate's degree preferably in childcare or related field
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to demonstrate and perform various sports activities
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
- Must be available for 3:00PM - 6:30 PM Mon. - Fri.
- Continued employment is contingent upon the availability of funding
