Job Summary
Complete closing duties by storing reusable goods, breaking down items, cleaning equipment and areas, returning gear to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking, turning off lights, locking doors, and finishing the daily cleaning checklist. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas while inspecting china, glass, and silver for cleanliness prior to use. Practice clean-as-you-go procedures to maintain area hygiene throughout the shift. Welcome and acknowledge guests using clear, professional language and appropriate telephone etiquette. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager while adhering to all safety policies. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, and navigating uneven surfaces or stairs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
