Job Summary
Club Leader on-site role in Moreno Valley supporting a ~20-child after-school program. Responsibilities include creating a safe, inclusive environment; developing engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with social-emotional learning and whole-child development; monitoring attendance and engagement; collaborating with the Site Coordinator and Community Liaison; assisting with materials procurement and budget adherence; attending required trainings and certifications; and potentially participating in off-site field trips. Requires minimum high school diploma or GED, valid LIVE Scan, TB clearance, CPR certification, and the ability to pass an assessment test in math, reading comprehension, and spelling. 20-25 hours/week with shifts that may include evenings and weekends; on-site at Woodcraft Rangers facilities and school sites; reports to Site Coordinator and Program Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Valid LIVE Scan, TB Clearance, and CPR Certification
- Must successfully pass an assessment test evaluating math, reading comprehension, and spelling
- Experience or knowledge in expanded learning programs or youth recreational facilities (preferred)
- AA Degree in Child Development or related field preferred (not mandatory)
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week, including evenings or weekends as needed
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds (physical demands)
