Job Summary
Develop, implement, and supervise specialized activities including College and Career Awareness, Recreation, Cultural Arts, Health and Wellness, Outdoor Recreation, Technology, Character Development, Leadership, and Volunteerism with the Program Coordinator. Support program administrative requirements such as student attendance, surveys, forms, and lesson plans. Collaborate with Program Coordinator, Site Leaders, and the school team to improve instructional, culture-building, and leadership skills. Attend all professional development, team planning, and data analysis meetings. Exemplify CCSP's core values in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues. Research best practices in community schools and 21st Century Community Learning Centers while establishing effective relationships with school partners and administration.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience working with children
- Very strong computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Outlook
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, families, and school partners, including school administration and staff
- Ability to work well with a team and independently
- Have a passion for helping all children achieve their highest aspirations
- Understanding and experience of education in an urban setting
Desired Qualifications
- Associate Degree preferred
- Spanish speaking preferred
