Job Summary
As Club Head Coach at Nile Wilson Gymnastics Coventry, lead a coaching team to deliver a fun, safe, interactive and inspiring gymnastics programme. Responsibilities include defining and delivering the club’s programme structure, coordinating the awards scheme, coaching across programmes, evaluating offerings against BG standards, and providing direct leadership and development for the coaching team. Manage daily staff rostering, schedules, and staffing requests; conduct coaching observations and feedback; maintain safeguarding, health and safety compliance; act as First Aid lead on site; engage with parents and the community; and contribute to club development projects and wider regional initiatives. Essential skills include Level 2 British Gymnastics General/Artistic Gymnastics, coaching across age ranges, strong interpersonal and customer service abilities, safeguarding and child-protection adherence, DBS checks, and ability to cover additional sessions when required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Level 2 British Gymnastics General/ Artistic Gymnastics for all qualifications
- Relevant First Aid & Safeguarding qualifications
- Enhanced DBS checks
