Job Summary
Conduct pre-construction risk monitoring and present response strategies for construction projects at CLS logistics camps. Evaluate qualification status of construction subcontractors and perform regular safety inspections and assessments. Manage safety health ledgers, review management plans, and lead on-site supervision to ensure proper safety activities by suppliers and site managers. Serve as a safety health coordinator for large-scale projects and provide immediate on-site support during safety incidents. Maintain safety health records and drive continuous improvement activities across logistics and distribution sites.
Required Qualifications
- Safety, Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical or related undergraduate degree or higher
- Industrial/Construction safety management practical experience
- Experience responding to work-related accidents (occupational injuries)
- Ability to work on-site/commute by personal vehicle (company will support vehicle maintenance costs)
- One of the following: Industrial Safety Supervisor or Construction Safety Technician qualification
- Construction Safety Engineer or Industrial Safety Engineer qualification with 5+ years of construction safety management experience
- Construction Safety Industrial Engineer or Industrial Safety Industrial Engineer qualification with 7+ years of construction safety management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a Construction Site Safety Coordinator
- Experience in logistics, distribution, or automated equipment site safety management
- Experience managing safety at sites with 300+ employees
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
