Job Summary
Supervise daily laboratory operations as a Section Supervisor or Lead, providing technical consultation to the medical staff and managing fiscal and quality assurance programs. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, assess staff competency, and maintain accurate patient results before reporting. Perform independent laboratory procedures across disciplines including Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Microbiology while overseeing equipment maintenance and updating policy manuals. Recognize age-specific result differences and manage proficiency testing samples. Requires five years of hospital laboratory experience, ASCP certification, and a relevant bachelor's degree. Full-time days shift with competitive compensation ranging from $30.28 to $40.76.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of hospital laboratory work experience
- Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical, biological health science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or other educational requirements stated in CLIA (42 CFR 493.1461)
- Current and Valid State License if the laboratory is located in a state where required

- ASCP certification, or equivalent, preferred
