Job Summary
Deploy Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates. Administer and optimize IaaS and PaaS environments, including VMs, networks, storage, and databases. Configure monitoring and observability solutions such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel. Ensure deployment compliance with Azure Policy and RBAC while integrating with Azure AD/Entra ID. Strengthen platform security using Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Sentinel within a Zero Trust framework. Automate recurring operations via Azure Automation, Logic Apps, and PowerShell. Apply FinOps principles to control and optimize cloud costs through resource management and tagging. Collaborate with project and security teams to ensure solution reliability and resilience.
Required Qualifications
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC) with Terraform, Bicep, ARM template
- Administration and optimization of Azure IaaS & PaaS environments (VMs, networks, storage, backups, databases)
- Deployment and configuration of monitoring and observability solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel, or alternatives like Splunk, IBM QRadar)
- Ensuring deployment compliance (Azure Policy, RBAC)
- Integration with Microsoft IAM: Azure AD / Entra ID (SAML, OpenID)
- Security of platforms with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel and Security Center (or alternatives) in a Zero Trust approach
- Automation of recurring operations with Azure Automation, Azure Function, Logic Apps and PowerShell
- FinOps approach to control and optimize cloud costs (resource management, governance, Tagging)
- Collaboration with project and security teams to ensure reliability, resilience and evolution of solutions
