Job Summary
Cloud Systems Engineer focused on architecting and deploying Azure Government and GCC High environments that meet CMMC Level 2 / NIST SP 800-171 controls. Works with compliance-minded customers to scope CUI boundaries, implement and document access management, auditing, and system protection, and serve as the technical escalation point for MSP clients on compliance and infrastructure issues. Requires hands-on Azure experience and familiarity with Microsoft 365 GCC High stack; preferred certifications (AZ-900/104/500, MS-500, SC-200, CompTIA Security+). Location is San Diego, CA with in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Entra ID, Intune, Defender suite, Exchange Online, SharePoint
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Bias towards creating documentation around what you do
- Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and ITIL concepts
