Job Summary
The Cloud Systems Architect will engineer and support public, private, and hybrid cloud infrastructures, ensuring security for data and network resources. Key responsibilities include advising on cloud management strategies, designing system architecture, determining system specifications, managing security operations, and providing technical guidance to database administrators and software developers. Candidates should possess extensive experience with cloud computing technologies, particularly with AWS and Azure, and demonstrate strong integration and security implementation skills. A Bachelor's degree and typically 6 years of work experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency in cloud hosts including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of cloud management strategies
- Ability to coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system
- Experience engineering on customer premise applications and systems interconnected to cloud resources
- Ability to analyze and resolve program support deficiencies
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AWS and Azure
- Knowledge of programming languages including Python, PHP, Java, Node, and Ruby on Rails
- Experience with cloud provider service-level agreements
- Skills to migrate applications to the cloud
- Ability to integrate services and tools across networks and data processing
- Knowledge to implement security information and event management
