Job Summary
Cloud Systems Administrator (Consultant) delivering 24x7 operational support and maintenance for cloud/hybrid environments across Azure, AWS, and GCP. Focus on service reliability, incident response, and operational excellence, with responsibilities including day-to-day operational support, VM provisioning, OS patching, runbooks and SOP documentation, ITSM incident/change management, automation via PowerShell/Bash and Terraform, IAM changes, and on-call rotations. Requires experience administering Windows and Linux, exposure to cloud platforms, scripting and automation skills, IaC familiarity, and strong communication/documentation. Hybrid work model in Canada with multiple office locations. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred. Total rewards include competitive base salary and substantial benefits. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- 2–4 years of experience in system administration or infrastructure support roles
- Hands-on Windows Server and/or Linux administration experience
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, security groups)
- Scripting experience with PowerShell or Bash
- Familiarity with Git and automation concepts
- Experience working in SLA-driven managed services environments
- Comfortable with on-call and production support
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to follow structured operational processes
- Total Rewards: The salary range for this position is $57,000 - $102,000
