Job Summary
Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure, AVD, and hybrid environments for enterprise and government clients. Deliver 2nd and 3rd level support across ICT systems, troubleshooting Active Directory, Azure AD, Windows Server, and core infrastructure. Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and Bicep to maintain configuration control. Monitor, tune, and optimize system performance while owning issues end-to-end from first report to resolution. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex incidents and recommend emerging technologies. Requires NV1 security clearance and eligibility for Australian Government Security Clearance. Hybrid working model with team anchor days.
Required Qualifications
- Existing NV1 security clearance
- Proven experience as a Cloud Administrator / Systems Administrator / IT Support Engineer, ideally in a Managed Services or enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, as well as hybrid workplace environments
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server, virtualisation, networking (LAN/WAN), and enterprise security
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, M365, AVD, and Exchange
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent)
- Proficiency with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar) and structured incident/change management processes
- Eligibility to hold or ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance
- Valid Vulnerable People / Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Police Check
