Job Summary
Design and implement secure, resilient cloud networks across AWS GovCloud and Microsoft Azure Government environments. Configure, deploy, and optimize hybrid connectivity solutions including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and Virtual WAN to support enterprise-scale architectures. Harden networking environments to meet DoD cybersecurity requirements such as RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and Zero Trust. Automate provisioning and lifecycle management using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Azure Bicep while troubleshooting complex routing and security issues. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce network segmentation and secure access controls. Requires TS/SCI clearance, 5-7 years of cloud networking experience, and proficiency in Python or PowerShell. Salary range $150,000 to $190,000.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud networking
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPNs, ExpressRoute, VNets)
- Experience designing and implementing hybrid network architectures integrating cloud environments with on-prem networks
- Familiarity with DoD cloud security policies (STIGs, NIST 800-53, RMF, Zero Trust)
- Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and security tools (Wireshark, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, VPC Flow Logs)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, IPsec, firewalls, and network segmentation
- Must be available for weekend shifts

- Experience with Cloud WAN and edge security solutions
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
- Familiarity with Cloud-Native Security solutions (AWS Shield, WAF, Security Hub)
- Experience working with classified cloud environments (C2S, SC2S, JWICS)
- Understanding of Zero Trust Networking and Identity-Centric Access Models
