Job Summary
Cloud Solutions Architect responsible for leading the design and implementation of AWS-based cloud solutions for sponsor classified systems, ensuring compliance with security requirements and federal standards; lead post-deployment maintenance, updates, and feature enhancements; drive API/databases integrations and ensure reliability and automation; collaborate with compliance officers, legal, and program managers to meet regulatory expectations; translate requirements into technical solutions and improve system reliability and monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, or more advanced degree, in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of cumulative experience spanning IT systems administration, IT system/software development and integration, IT system/software development and integration, IT system/software testing, cybersecurity compliance, IT system troubleshooting, and incident response
- 2+ years of experience in system administration of Sponsor Systems
- 6+ years of experience in application design, development and deployment of classified IC systems of similar scope and complexity
- 4+ years of combined experience in Sponsor’s Amazon Web Services environment (C2S or C2E) cloud systems administration, containerization, cloud environment management, and compliance assessments
- Experience with SecDevOps tools, such as CI/CD, code repositories, testing suites
- Experience providing troubleshooting support for IT systems within IC environment
- Certified in AWS or equivalent cloud technology
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages, designing and administering relational databases, NoSQL data solutions, IT system/software testing and configuration management practices
- Experience using IT operational status tools of Amazon Web Services and implementing IT Operations situational awareness insight using monitoring and logs, such as in Splunk dashboard, Elastic Search, ServiceNow
