Job Summary
Cloud Solutions Architect responsible for designing and governing scalable cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security on a major cloud platform. Lead architecture reviews, define cloud landing zones and reference architectures, embed security and compliance controls, drive cost optimization and FinOps practices, mentor engineering teams, produce architecture artifacts, and collaborate with cloud providers to align with enterprise standards and regulatory obligations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles
- Deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives
- Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs
- Strong understanding of containerization, serverless, and managed data services
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership
- Cloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
