Job Summary
Cloud Solution Designer combines sales engagement with technical design to translate customer needs into robust, secure cloud architectures. Design architectural blueprints, drive PoCs, analyze cost with TCO, ensure security/compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001), and provide migration roadmaps. Supports presales activities and communicates complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requires 5+ years in cloud architecture/solution design, deep hyperscaler expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP), and strong DevOps familiarity. Remote work is available within Hungary; English is required and German is welcome.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Architect, Solution Designer, or Senior Cloud Engineer role
- Deep expertise in at least one major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) with knowledge of others
- Strong understanding of core cloud services (compute, storage, networking, databases, security, identity management)
- Experience with migration strategies (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, re-architecting)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible) and cloud-native development practices
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to varied audiences
- Consultative approach and focus on customer success
- Fluency in English; German language helpful
