Job Summary
Cloud Solution Architect (Experienced, Senior or Lead) at The Boeing Company to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure for mission operations. Responsibilities include design/build/deploy of cloud infrastructure, IaC implementation, cloud security (IAM, least privilege, key/secret management), observability (Prometheus/Grafana, CloudWatch), network/compute patterns (VPCs, load balancers, autoscaling, multi-AZ), cost optimization, backup/DR, incident response, container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS), runbooks and documentation, and developer self-service automation. Requires active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, U.S. citizenship, and 3+ years in cloud engineering with IaC tooling. Preferred qualifications include 5+ to 10+ years and multiple cloud certifications. Location: Herndon, VA. Relocation not negotiable.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- 3+ years of related work experience in Cloud Engineering
- Experience with IaC tooling and automation
- Experience designing cloud solutions
- Associate degree or higher in a relevant field
