Job Summary
Develop and maintain complex software systems for enterprise infrastructure, including real-time systems, large data set manipulation, and business management applications. Review and test software components against design requirements while documenting results, and provide input on system design trade-offs and COTS/GOTS utilization. Deliver Help Desk support by handling and resolving tickets via JIRA. Utilize appropriate software development methodologies and proficiency with React, JavaScript, Git, Kubernetes, and Docker to deliver capabilities to a global defense workforce. Requires Top Secret/SCI clearance and the ability to physically move workstations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience OR associate's degree with 15 years of relevant experience OR high school diploma with 20 years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
- Proficiency with React and JavaScript
- Proficiency with Git/Gitlab
- some knowledge and experience with CI/CD
- Experience with Helm, Kubectl, and Kubernetes
- Experience with Docker
- Current active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
- The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer's desk
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
