Job Summary
Develop and enhance cloud-based applications supporting critical national security missions within a collaborative Agile environment. Utilize DevOps tools and modern cloud technologies to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. Work onsite at a contractor facility in Annapolis Junction with telework flexibility based on tasking and customer approval. This role offers the opportunity to grow technical expertise while contributing to mission-focused initiatives for Peraton, a leading national security company driving missions of consequence across land, sea, space, air, and cyberspace domains.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph
- 2 years of software development/engineering experience or related technical experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Experience with Java development (academic or professional)
- Experience using Git or GitLab
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to full-stack development using Java and/or JavaScript
- Familiarity with React or Vue.js
- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON
- Familiarity with MongoDB
- Exposure to Docker and containerization technologies
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins
- Experience using Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence
- AWS Certified Developer – Associate
- AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
